Blood tests & lab

Laboratory blood tests help investigate a range of medical questions. Blood tests take place on Wednesdays from 09:00 to 11:00 by phone appointment. Please come fasting (no food after 8 pm the evening before; unsweetened water is fine).

Outpatient surgery

Minor surgical procedures are performed directly in the practice – such as removal of warts and sebaceous cysts (atheromas) – as well as first aid for lacerations after accidents.

Wound care & suture removal

Professional dressing changes, suture removal, wound checks, irrigation and wound swabs after surgery to reduce the risk of complications such as infections.

ECG (electrocardiogram)

A resting ECG quickly provides information about heart rhythm and heart rate. High blood pressure can also cause changes to the heart that become visible early on an ECG.

Blood pressure checks & management

Regular monitoring and medication for high blood pressure (hypertension), to prevent lasting damage to the cardiovascular system and consequences such as stroke and heart attack.

Diabetes mellitus monitoring

Regular blood sugar measurement, long-term value checks (HbA1c) and individually adjusted blood sugar management to prevent diabetic complications.

Pain therapy & infiltrations

Targeted pain relief – both through medication and directly in the practice with pain-relieving injections, infiltrations and infusions.

Infusion therapy

Where medically indicated, medication or fluids can be administered by intravenous infusion. We discuss whether this treatment is appropriate for you during a medical consultation.

Preventive medicine & vaccination advice

Free annual preventive check-up (Vorsorgeuntersuchung) for early detection. Comprehensive vaccination advice (incl. travel vaccines), flu vaccination and pneumococcal vaccination. Vaccinations are a private service.
